I think in the near future they will always be a service tied to separate networks. Maybe if they ever get involved with OpenSocial they will be able to aggregate information for their own search engine. I plan on doing a more in depth post on these guys fairly soon over at my company blog (blog.ogilvypr.com). Stay tuned...
