Organic Response’s Sensor Node has been recognized for design excellence by winning a prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Currently in their 61st year, the Red Dot Design Award is one of the world’s largest and most renowned product design competitions, recognising both a product’s form and function.
The Sensor Node is the heart of our system’s unique distributed intelligence architecture, comprising a motion sensor, ambient light detector, infrared transmitter, infrared receiver and intelligent microprocessor.
The ‘four-iris eye’ case design by Sydney architecture and innovation firm, Supermanoeuvre, celebrates the precise and distinct cones of vision required for each sensor, ensuring minimal protrusion from the luminaire. The Red Dot award credits the design for delivering both optimal performance and aesthetic appeal to architects, designers and end users.
Our congratulations to both our engineering design team and Supermanouvre for this achievement.
