Mirvac & AGL go Organic in Docklands

We’re delighted to announce that Organic Response has been chosen by AGL as the lighting control solution for its new 19,000 m2 headquarters at 699 Bourke St, in the Docklands precinct of Melbourne.

In their new office AGL will also adopt a new style of working, Smarter Working, which aims to enhance collaboration, allow for better use of space and resources and re-energise the workplace.  Key to AGL was Organic Response’s capability to adapt to the changing occupancy and workplace requirements of Smarter Working, while providing improved occupancy comfort and market leading energy savings and ROI with our recently launched Generation 2 lighting control system.

As part of their evaluation process, AGL and Mirvac conducted a pilot of the Organic Response system in their former building that delivered 46% more energy savings than their existing networked addressable solution, but at significantly lower cost.  You’ll find this case study and several other similar success stories here.

In line with Mirvac’s recently released sustainability leadership strategy, the developer is committed to achieving a 5 Star NABERS rating and 6 Star Green Star rating.  The ambition is to create a green icon in an already very green precinct – Docklands has the highest Green Star density of any post code in Australia.
