Organic Response will unveil its web-based Portal at Frankfurt’s Light + Building exhibition, starting on 13th March 2016. The Portal represents the fourth and final tier in Organic Response’s autonomous lighting control system.
Organic Response Sensor Nodes continuously capture occupancy information, and use this information to make intelligent local lighting decisions. In conjunction with Silvair’s Bluetooth mesh technology, Organic Response has now developed the means by which this real time, location specific occupancy information can be collected and aggregated on a cloud-based software platform – the Organic Response Portal. Importantly, the Portal will assimilate other building information into a rich data set that adds value well beyond lighting control.
The Portal will allow users to access the full suite of building data, not in a raw format, but as a set of actionable insights available in real time to tenants, property managers and other stakeholders. The Portal delivers information and remote control to users, and future proofs buildings by providing connectivity to the Internet of Things.
A pilot site is already under way in the head office of AGL, one of Australia’s largest energy companies.
You can see the Portal and its applications in action at Light & Building, by visiting the stands of Organic Response technology partners Feilo Sylvania (Hall 4.1 Booth E31) and Fagerhult (Hall 3 Stand D91).
