Charter Hall had a vision for their new office in Brisbane to provide their staff with a modern office space - creating an informal, relaxed, and supportive working environment that departs from the classic commercial fitout elements.
It is in the space’s integration of invisible and indispensable smart building features enabled through the implementation of Organic Response wireless lighting control, that the environment sets a new standard in adaptability and occupant experience.
ENHANCING THE MODERN OFFICE
The flexibility and simplicity of the lighting system alone has added significant value to Charter Hall’s tenancy.
The lighting design is flexible and intuitive, taking advantage of advanced smart lighting controls from Organic Response to allow the lighting to be adaptable for the multi-use areas and collaborative zones across the space.
Fagerhult’s Mini Touch track spots have been used throughout to provide an attractive, flexible and scalable lighting solution. NDY worked with Eagle Lighting Australia to design a customised track mounted Organic Response sensor with a slim profile to integrate seamlessly with the 50mm wide lighting track system.
The track mounted spotlights can be easily re-positioned and aimed for optimal impact and, thanks to the Organic Response mobile app, light levels can be tailored to the requirements and personal preferences of the occupants.
Charter Hall also benefit from outstanding environmental and sustainability outcomes thanks to the Organic Response sensor nodes automatically dimming light levels in areas that are vacant or receiving large amounts of sunlight - a key marker of success for Charter Hall who have targeted a Gold WELL rating.
