Co-founder & Chief Strategy Officer
As inventor of our technology, Danny’s passion is developing and deploying technical solutions for a resource constrained world. After ten years designing high end sensors for astronomy and early warning smoke detection, he moved into sustainability consulting, emerging with an intimate understanding of how energy moves through buildings, and the regulatory and commercial frameworks that both drive and inhibit efficiency. With a healthy disdain for the status quo, he is enjoying inventing, developing and collaborating to bring building technology into the future. Danny has an Honours Degree in Interdisciplinary Systems Engineering from ANU.
Geoff is Founder & Managing Director of Genesis Now, that for the past 20 years has helped businesses become more energy efficient. A co-inventor of the Organic Response Distributed Intelligence system, Geoff has developed environmental assessment tools and designed & manufactured a number of products, including an appliance power meter, lighting controller, and an ultrasonic anemometer. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from RMIT.

Jeff is Managing Director at Jeff Whalan Learning Group, working with CEOs and senior executives to improve their performance. He is a member of the Victorian Government Better Services Implementation Taskforce, and Chairman at Australian Governance Masters Index Fund Limited. Jeff previously held roles as CEO at Centrelink and CEO at Medicare Australia. He was also Deputy Secretary for the Department of the Prime Minister & Cabinet, and Deputy Secretary of the Corporate Services & Infrastructure Group (Department of Defence).
Advisor Commercial Property
Stuart Nisbett has more than 25 years' experience in property development, property funds management, equity and debt raising, and project finance. Previously, Stuart was Executive Director, Property Funds at ANZ Investment Bank. He was also the Managing Director, Property Banking & Property Investment Banking at N M Rothschild & Sons (Australia) Limited, and held senior roles at Macquarie Bank and Lend Lease. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.
Dr. Kemal Ajay's engineering career comprises more than 35 years specialising in the design of electronic systems. He received his Engineering degree from R.M.I.T. and his PhD from Monash University. His experience ranges from original academic research to design of complex commercial electronic equipment. Kemal holds numerous patents in such fields as laser-based measurement systems, smoke detection systems and safety systems.
Keith has over 40 years extensive experience in aspects of design, construction, management and property development. Since the early 1990s, he has actively promoted the concept of sustainability to a wide range of businesses. A mechanical engineer by profession, he has held several senior engineering and property management positions for the Commonwealth Government and the private sector. Most recently, Keith was the Head of Property Advisory Services at ANZ Bank.
John has over 25 years experience in Business Improvement. A Senior Executive who is a certified Master Black Belt with a Degree in Aerospace Engineering and Post Graduate qualifications in Applied Statistics, John has championed strategy formulation and transformation initiatives in the financial, automotive, oil and gas, manufacturing, medical and R&D industries across multiple geographies. He has a passion for all things Lean and Green.
Campbell has over 30 years experience specialising in both R&D and commercialisation. His experience includes advanced electronic control, instrument and communications for Toyota, GM, Volvo, BMW; power conversion and SCADA for solar concentrator power stations, design of specialist vehicles, and ruggedised lighting. Actively involved in sustainability, he has authored or co-authored 15 patents.
Ray has extensive experience in business development in the technology space, having worked in senior roles at Synapsense, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Celerity and Kinetics. Prior to Kinetics, Ray was founder & CEO of a market leading building & process controls integrator. His skill set covers channel development, marketing communications, strategy development and M&A. His experience also covers policy and standards development. Ray has an MBA from the Edinburgh School of Business, through Heriot-Watt University.
Dean has held senior engineering positions for over a decade, with extensive experience in R & D, product development, manufacturing and product testing. His background includes senior roles with Lockhead Martin, Blue Bear Systems, GPSports Systems and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Dean has successfully set up and managed embedded systems R & D within several small technology companies. Dean has a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from Australian National University (ANU).
Director Corporate Operations
Adrian has more than ten years’ experience in operational improvement and line management and was a management consultant at Partners in Performance. He has worked across a number of industries, including medical devices, semiconductors, mining services, power generation and distribution and high rise construction. Adrian has a Bachelor of Engineering (1st Class) from The University of Adelaide and a MBA (Distinction) from the Melbourne Business School.
Johannes is an experienced Software Engineer, having previously worked for Numerical Method, an award winning Hong Kong based software consultancy. Equally at home architecting complex applications or developing intricate algorithms, he has a passion for applying technology to solve real-world problems.
Johannes holds a Master of Arts Degree (1st class) in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, Churchill College.
Jacqui has over fifteen years experience working in senior finance positions across a range of industries including property, R&D and manufacturing. Most recently she held the position of Financial Controller of Szencorp Pty Ltd and prior to that was Finance Manager of Xtralis. Jacqui has experience in a wide range of functions including financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, systems and process implementations, equity investment, due diligence and strategic planning. She is a CA and has a post-graduate Commerce degree.
Bell is heavily involved in R&D, design validation, prototyping, product testing and technical support. He has 10 years experience in the electronics/semiconductor industry and is highly skilled in test & debug, technical support and manufacturing assembly processes. Bell also brings a background in quality and process engineering and the authoring of technical documentation in accordance with ISO 9001. Bell has a Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering from San Carlos University, and is a Professional Electronics Engineer as assessed by Engineers Australia.
Alexander started out as a lighting designer in the commercial and retail industry, where he specialised in tertiary lighting designs with an interest in lighting control systems. His enthusiasm for seeing a project from design through to implementation and his extensive knowledge of lighting and fixtures saw him move from design to project management. Alexander holds a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Vives University in Belgium.
Frank is passionate about energy and technology. He has experience as Design and Project Engineer on solar projects, cogeneration plants and within the chemical manufacturing industry. He has lead and delivered projects from design to commissioning, with a strong focus on the Electrical and Instrumentation packages. Driven by innovation, Frank takes pride in delivering projects beyond the conventional frame and in exceeding client expectations. Frank holds a Masters Degree in Electromechanical Engineering from the University of Liège, Belgium.
Julian is an experienced software engineer, who has worked with systems of varying size in the finance, engineering and telecommunications sector. He started his career as a Developer at Accenture, before moving to work for a software consultancy in Melbourne. Julian likes tangible results, as such he enjoys developing software with an engineering focus, as well solving problems with algorithms and using big data to deliver actionable insights. Julian has a Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Computer Science (Mechatronics) with Honours from the University of Melbourne.
Nabeel is an enthusiastic software engineer with experience across the financial services and scientific research industries. His past experience includes working as Application Developer at Credit Suisse AG and as a Research Engineer at the Plasmonics and Advanced Imaging Laboratory at the National University of Singapore. With an appetite for solving challenging problems, he focuses his energy on high impact problem. Nabeel holds a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics with Honours from the National University of Singapore.
Yohan contributes to test development and analysis, and engineering support for our existing and new products. He is also the primary contact for customer and technical support. Yohan brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the company from his time in GPS and RFID engineering and the broadcasting industry, specifically in product prototyping and development, production, testing and integration, and technical support and service. Yohan has a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics ) with Honours from Swinburne University.
Principal Design Engineer
Chris Jones is our Principal Electronics Design Engineer, developing the hardware and firmware of Organic Response since its inception. He has a decade of experience in mixed-signal and RF integrated circuit design for mobile phones, working in the UK design centre of Mediatek and Analog Devices Inc, where he was named as an inventor on five patents. Known at previous workplaces for turning off unused lights, he now prefers making thousands of microprocessors to do this sneakily and unobtrusively. Chris has
an Engineering Honours Degree (1st Class) from the Australian National University (ANU).
